So, I purchased a used 2019 Kia Sorento SX and really love the car. This is my second Sorento and they have done well by me, including the navigation system. However, I updated the navigation software on my 2019 to the latest version and have been very frustrated. First, you can no longer enter an address when in drive. My wife always entered the address for me while on the road and now we have to stop?????? Well, so now you have to use the voice recognition and it never understands what I am saying. Can we put back the ability to enter an address while driving.
Worse, when I do search for and address it is almost impossible to find if it is in a different state. Even when I know the address is correct it fails. I expect that when they removed state from the entry form, they forgot to reorganize the database. Heck, just try to enter the address number and it will say it does not exist. I suggest you put back State as an entry field so the searches work again.
Final thought, where are all the POI options. Used to be parks and many other options. Now there are so few options to use.
I am hopeful that the fall release will address the issues so I can again use the system. Or at least let me go back to the old version that worked so much better.
