Hi, Just checking in. I see new maps are coming out 11/1 and my car only has the option to buy a new SD card. Do you have the less expensive USPS shipping available yet? Thanks
Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on our forum. At this time we do not have any information or ETA on a USPS shipping option, we will only have FedEx available at this time. We do apologize about any inconveniences this may have caused, please do not hesitate to reach back out to us if you need further assistance with your mapping data or navigation updates. Thank you again and have a great day!

Why is shipping so outrageous? I can ship it personally from fedex for less, and you want me to believe this is the best rate your company can get? What are the options because ground did not even come up. I can ship an envelope coast to coast in three days for $11 super saver? Please help me understand.

Hi Ian, really disappointed for no cheaper shipment option, please provide feedback to upper level so they are aware of us who can't download update. May I ask if it is possible to pick up order?

The options available depending on the vehicle is shipping via FedEx or the free download version. If you would like you may create a help desk ticket via the FAQ to inquire what options are available. Options are also displayed by visiting mapnsoft.com and searching for your year and model. We do apologize for the inconvenience at this time we still do not have an ETA on the addition of USPS being added to the shipping options.

Wow, $30 great, then add + $56 shipping WTF! No way in hell I'm paying $56 to ship a USB drive to Canada. Apparently I can't download for my vehicle either. Just squeezing every last penny out, eh. Greed.

I'm from Canada and you want almost $60 to ship a little 32GB memory card?? Tell me you are not gouging. I could ship a few cases of those cards for that money.

$30 for a USB, expensive but ok...$38.60 to ship me said USB is absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!! Shame on Hyundai, do better!!!! Why collude with FedEx to rip customers off? Either make the map updates available at local Hyundai dealerships or sell them via Amazon because they obviously know how to ship things at a much lower cost.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on our forum. The price of shipping is set and determined by FedEx themselves, we do not have anything to do with the price of shipping. We do offer free downloads for vehicles with gen 4 and newer head units to avoid shipping. If you need assistance with the map update, please contact us via Chat portal or email for more info. Thank you again and have a great day!

Thanks for replying, but I find your response inadequate. You do not explain why Hyundai has a 500% mark up on the cost of a 32 GB USB stick and you don't explain why Hyundai cannot provide the USBs to Hyundai dealerships or sell them via Amazon to prevent customers from having to deal with the exorbitant shipping cost and high mark up. The fact of the matter is if Hyundai can manage to mail me a letter every time there is a recall on a 2012 Hyundai Sonata LTD, they can also mail me a USB to ensure that all of the car's features continue to function as designed. Ask yourself, why does a $100 Garmin come equipped with lifetime map updates and a $40, 000 vehicle does not??? Until Hyundai figures out a way for owners of vehicles manufactured prior to 2015 to download the map updates online then they should take responsibility for delivering the map updates to their customers. I am very disappointed in Hyundai's management of this situation and I refuse to pay this exorbitant cost on principle. Moreover, I will boycott all Hyundai dealerships for regular maintenance and when my Sonata reaches the end of its life, I will not purchase another Hyundai because Hyundai clearly does not stand 100% behind their product%!!!
