We recommend search using your current SW ver from the head unit.
Please follow this link on how to get the SW ver.

Please make sure you have the following before you start your download:
Ethernet cable (we do not recommend wireless connection due large file size)
Correct media type for the download.
Please follow this link to learn more about the correct media type.

After the download is completed, please insert the SD card or USB drive into the head unit to start the update.

I understand the download is only available to certain model years and others need a physical SD card shipped and inserted, but can you provide a reason why? Surely the capability is there to download an updated version to my existing SD without waiting for the new one to arrive.

The decision for download/free update availability is coming from Hyundai, Genesis, and KIA Corporation, not Hyundai AutoEver. As you may notice the current map & software update is the global offering thru the manufacturer website (instead from Hyundai AutoEver website). Please call the manufacturer customer care for any concerns you may have about the map & software update availability options.

If you like the looks of your display and instrument panel and ease-of-use do not, I repeat do not under any circumstances install this new update. It is garbage!!!!!

@David, we understand that the current update for your vehicle may not to your liking, but rest assure that we are capturing customer feedbacks and will do our best to make any necessary improvement/correction. We notice that you also post at the Palisade 3 ways splits topic and we believe that post has the better potential for HMC to act. Thank you.

I don't see updates for the 2021 Telluride. Is that because it doesn't need it or it is not available? Also, can the navigation (maps) just be updated but leave the rest of the radio settings intact so that it still has the three split screen functionality and doesn't mess up the Sirius/XM display?

I helped a friend update their 2017 Sorento to the latest version in November 2020. One reason we couldn’t use the OEM chip in the vehicle was it was only 16GB, the November 2020 update requires a 32GB. We were able to get the correct specification 32GB memory chip at a Walmart for only about $8.00, all worked fine after the upgrade.

There are at least two links in your post that are dead ends. Maybe it's time to review and update them?
