I am completely stumped and frustrated trying to get the Navigation Updater to work on my Mac (MacOS 12.3.1). I have the Navigation Updater download and installed. Using the NavUp app, I was able to download the update to my local disk drive and the next step was to install the software to the thumb drive and nothing happened. I waited hours and nothing happened.
I tried downloading the update directly to my thumb drive, and nothing happens at all after waiting for hours. I'm looking at "top" from a command window and the CPU/Network activity from the Mac Activity Monitor and the Nav Update app is idle.
I am well past and have already resolved the issue about "unknown developer" and being unable to even open the app.
I've tried a couple of different 64GB thumb drives, FAT32, USB3.0 and USB2.0, same behavior. My systems sees the thumb drive, I can manually copy files to/from the USB drive.
I have the navigation update downloaded on my local hard drive - a bunch of tarball files - anyone know what the installation looks like on the thumb drive?
Maybe I just need to untar everything onto the thumb drive?

Having a similar (frustrating) issue with trying to update a 2020 Kona E using Navigation Updater on a Mac. Like previous post, was able to download NU app, download the update to the Mac HD, and then I was able to transfer the update to a (couple) FAT32 64 Gb thumb drives - however, when the thumb drives are placed in the vehicleʻs data port, the system says there is no data on the thumb drive. I can see in my finder that the file has transferred, and the Navigation Updater app says it was completed. Donʻt know if this is because our Bluelink has expired and we did not renew.... or if itʻs a less Navigation Updater porting issue from PC to Mac .... or what. But like the previous post above - completely frustrating for a fairly advanced tech person.

Same here. DIY update doesn't work. And I've spoken with two dealerships who say they can't help. What a joke.
